You can save your VCD movies onto a DVD so that you can watch them all on your player. Though this is a convenient thing to do this will in no way improve the
quality of the video. You can use software like Nero Vision to create a DVD movie.
All you need to do is select the video you want to import to the DVD. It will convert
the VCD video to DVD format and also take you through menu creation so that you can
select the movie you want to watch. Nero Vision will allow you to do lots more than
this like create templates and chapters but it cannot be discussed in detail here. The
wizard driven interface is quite simple to understand. You can also use ISOBuster
to extract the DAT fi les (video fi les on a VCD are found in the MPEGAV folder)
as “MPG” fi les (right click and extract as MPEG frames) and then use software like
TMPGEnc to convert these fi les to DVD format. Use a DVD authoring software
to create your DVD with these fi les you have just converted to DVD standard. This
method involves more than one software compared to the one-stop method
provided by Nero Vision
